How do I connect power to the Auditor?
For Installers: This article explains how to connect power (Voltage connections P1, P2, P3 & N) to all models of Auditor
The power connections to the Auditor supply the voltage references for accurate monitoring, AND supply the Auditor with power. The wiring connections are different for:
- Single-Phase
- Three-Phase
Caution: The Auditor requires a neutral. Connecting the Auditor phase-to-phase can damage the hardware.
Single-Phase connections
Use this configuration when one phase is present.
The voltage connections are labelled P1, P2, P3, N.
Connect P1, P2 & P3 to the same phase.
Connect neutral to N.
Three-Phase connections
Use this configuration when there are multiple phases present.
The voltage connections are labelled P1, P2, P3, N.
Connect voltage phases to P1, P2, and P3. Connect neutral
(Black) to N.
Tip: When ordering you can specify single or three-phase power tails which come pre-wired and help save time in the field.
