Why does the switches tab disappear on the Dashboard when I change my device?

For Installers and Fleet Managers: information on when you will see the switches tab.

If the device you have chosen in the device select drop-down is a device that doesn’t have switching, or you don’t have permission to change switch state for that device, this tab won’t display.
