No, you do not need a licensed electrician to power-cycle a Wattwatchers devices so long as the person doing so is permitted to and also follows the businesses electrical panel access guidelines.

For devices that are installed on Commercial or Industrial premises, we strongly encourage consulting someone with adequate knowledge around the switchboard (e.g. Facility Manager or Electrician) before performing the power cycle.

Power cycling a Wattwatchers device only requires turning off the break or main switch supplying power to the Auditor for 30 seconds. No panels need to be removed to access the Wattwatchers Auditor device or the wiring.
